Circuit Design Engineer, Syracuse, NY                                                                      October 2012-Present

●     Design SONET/TDM and MPLS core to edge network configuration in Granite.

●              Responsible for the design and provisioning of TDM and Layer 2/3 Ethernet based circuits in support of both Enterprise and wholesale market segments within the Time Warner Cable’s Commercial Services group.    

●              Work with the Commercial Engineering group on identifying new facility needs.

●              Implement network and customer circuit designs applying carrier standards (circuit IDs and CLLI codes) and documenting them as accurately as possible to help ensure accurate troubleshooting and network maintenance.

●              Coordinate change management requests with appropriate NOC and field resources.

·         Assign Ericsson/Lucent UMTS circuit paths from the Tellabs DACS (MSN) to the RNC equipment to coordinate testing.

·         Utilize Granite (Xng) database to manage and assign MSN port assignments, IMA/PVP circuit design for 3G Network support.

·         Issue CIQ, CTS and IWOS request for various markets in the NE Region.

·         Generate circuit path revision to provide necessary MSN capacity for Node B circuit growth utilizing RNC/ MSN re-homes and OC3
